Re: Round 1 vs Eels

3 Main points out of this game 1) Stefano is a flop. He was gassed after 5 minutes. Bad buy Storm 2) There are a lot of ball hogs in the team, and if not addressed, will cost us big time this year 3) That right side defence is a disgrace and we can't win a Premiership if we leave that unchanged Apa...

Re: Round 1 vs Eels

The boys put Parra away in the first half. That’s when the game was on the line. It was incredibly *lima lima lima duck* hot out there on the ground…and it’s a long season… I agree - a superb first half, and the boys can be forgiven for putting the cue in the rack. Not blaming them for easing up - ...

Re: Round 1 vs Eels

I think Meaney might come in for a bit of stick this season Well, we obviously still haven't fixed the right edge defence. A miss by Meaney and a miss by Loiero when he was at right centre because Meaney was too far inside - that's their second half tries. The left side scrambled much better to cov...

Re: Round 1 vs Eels

We got used to Smith: outside pass to Cronk: inside pass to Slater: TRY.

Now we've got Grant: outside pass to Hughes: inside pass to Paps: TRY.

Enjoy.

One of the better refs.

Pretty close to full strength, will be a much better marker of where we are at than the trials.

Re: Official thread and signing news

If cheese handled the initial departure better I think it would have been possible. But he was terrible and I would think really offended Craig. I don't see any significant value there I'm afraid. He'd be our third choice hooker at best and no more than 3rd choice #14, so he'd have to come dirt che...

Re: Second Trial Game Team

The best bet for him to make a go of it would be in the backrow. He's always looked slow to me and they've made it worse by putting him on the wing. Agreed. Makes sense too as we don't have much depth in the 2nd row. The 2 starters are great but Chan isn't much chop, Howarth seems cemented at centr...

Re: Second Trial Game Team

I know it's only a trial, and historically we only win about one in three of them. But honestly, our edge defence looked at times like the guys had never been on the training paddock together.

Re: Second Trial Game Team

Harry needs a long sitdown with Cam Smith.
Needs to learn what 'cool, calm and collected' means; because he's being none of them.

Sigh. Not even original.

Congratulations on such an insightful first post.
Ooh, it's been a while since we had one of these.
I must go and sweep under the bridge and chase all the spiders out. Maybe toss down some fresh straw.
Is that how you house Trolls?
Exactly so.

Warbrick resting after All Stars game.

Have heard Hughes has a neck injury.
Ongoing neck issues from last year?

Re: Tom Hazleton

Wow that’s crazy, the fact they have direct quotes from his manager and it’s all a lie? Pretty sad. Shame he looks a good prospect too. "Hazelton's manager Gavin Orr..." tells you all you need to know. He's not Isaac Moses, but he eats out of the same trough. I wonder wether this is the &...
