There was a time where I'd be more disappointed in missing out on him again. You watch him compared to the other top elite middles in the league and he doesn't quite match them. Good not great and we really need a great player in the middle for us.

I'm more advocating for a cheaper/depth guy outside back because we've already got a ton of money elsewhere in the squad and I'd rather improve other, more glaring holes if we had the money to spend. We really don’t have the squad to happily do a player swap this year. The new report of Parra wanting one of Howarth, Stefano or Coates is just ridiculous and would weaken us even more.

He'll get the underrated tag again next season but those who know won't forget. His goal kicking was never good enough either but Paps had a bad week and everyone sooked so he had to give it up.

He has pretty much proven to be an out and out wing man only. Had a bizarre drop off in form last year as well.

If we signed him for a season to play centre does that fast track Jack back into the second row spot? A thing to wonder about.

He is very raw and young. I was thinking if he shows he can handle NSW cup he'll potentially get a call up at the end of the season.
