Re: Storm v Panthers

His individual effort and defence hasn’t stacked up yet but the panic over the defence not being organised if Sua plays fullback is a bit premature. Paps played last night and the defence was a complete mess. Maybe the front line should take more responsibility?

Re: Storm v Panthers

Penrith control the ruck extremely well and give Harry less time/space. He needs to be able to bring something different in these matchups. He didn't over play his hand either and force anything so he deserves credit for that.

Re: Storm v Panthers

Outside back depth and backrow depth tested early. At least we have options in the halves.

Re: Storm v Panthers

Good to get the two points but a real kick up the arse needed after a performance like that. The lack of discipline defensively was honestly bizarre to watch. First contact was inconsistent and the plan to rush up and pressure backfired the entire night. Stefano stood out tonight which is nice to se...

Re: Storm v Panthers

Nelson is getting even more reckless. Don’t blame anyone who doesn’t want to put up with that anymore. Absolutely correct! He seems to always want to be the hero and take a player out. Even his first 2 runs forward he was trying to do exactly that!! I would love to know what's going through his nog...

Re: Storm v Panthers

Found it odd how much we tried to rattle Penrith the first 20 minutes. We went full berserk and tried to win the game every play then couldn’t sustain it. Can anyone figure out what the hell Munster was doing on their second try? Rushed up out of the line, didn’t put on a hit then turned around comp...

Re: Storm v Panthers

Unfortunately predictable. Long season ahead so hopefully other guys get a chance soon. Can only imagine how more annoyed I’d be if Welch hadn’t been forced to retire.

Re: Storm v Panthers

I kinda hate these regular season matchups with Penrith now because we can't prove anything.

NAS should come straight back onto the bench for Tui. His performance in the GF doesn't get talked about enough and we have no idea if anything happened to him or if he was just bad.

Re: Official thread and signing news

The 2020's would have been a bit different if Tino didn't want to leave :(

Re: Official thread and signing news

The roster balance is just a bit out of whack to me if we're looking to extend another depth spine player? We have Harry and Hughes due for extensions soon and I feel like at some point the club will need to make a tough decision because we can't keep every half or spine option.

It could be any of the three but it's going to be Vaalepu. Last in, first out situation.

Re: Round 1 vs Eels

Katoa is right up there as one of the best forwards in the nrl. He deserves so much credit for what he’s developed into. Yeah we unfortunately clocked off big time in the second half. We managed minutes of the forwards and made a few too many mistakes with and without the ball. I’m sure Bellamy will...
