Storm have offered a 200k transfer fee for Lomax, which Parramatta have since knocked back. The NRL is preparing to step in to resolve it if the Eels aren’t prepared to budge and entertain any “reasonable” offers from the Storm, or any other club. For context, Canterbury paid a 165k transfer fee for Galvin last year.

I think he replaces Howarth who takes Katoas spot in the backrow. Next year Howarth stays in the backrow with Blore moving back to Sydney.

Yeah it's unlikely, especially after backing in Sua. But we played Anderson all year last year despite knowing he was going. All that matters is the season you're in.

I'd also back Lomax as the goal kicker more than Meaney. I'm not sure how you would rate Lomax as a defender then Meaney. I know that the right side was often targeted by opposition teams last year.

Lomax will at least score 2 tries for every one he might let in...whereas Nick would be 1 for 1 (or even worse sadly)...

I think this is by far the most likely scenario.

I might be in the minority, but I'd love to have him in the team - he'd 100% make it a stronger line up, and we've lost plenty without really getting any big replacements.

But more than anything, I'm really enjoying that hivemind cesspool that is reddit NRL - they can't stand the Storm during the best of times, but their collective meltdown over this whole situation is fun to watch. I don't interact with it at all (outside of reading it), and it's honestly a real shame that the only place people seem to talk about the NRL is reddit (!!) though I do enjoy how angry people get about anything relating to the Storm.
