Rmour on online sites and 3AW this morning saying Prelim is Friday night 7.50. We will have to wait and see.

Storm finished first. We’ll get Friday night for that reason alone but also to avoid the AFL GF on the Saturday.

Roosters looking strong. Beating Manly 20-0 before Manly snagged one just before halftime to go in 20-4.

Roosters forwards dominating and then their big outside backs taking advantage

Both teams look bang average, Storm should annihilate either of them.

All 3 Roosters tries from some of the softest defence I’ve seen, wont get anywhere near that much free space to run in against our boys.

Rueben Garrick might be the worst defender in the NRL

Tedesco just strolled through the turnstiles.

Manly putting up a pathetic effort, top 8 is such a joke, prelims are the top 4 again, might aswell skip the first 2 weeks of the finals honestly.

Don’t love how much we’re going to hear about the head to head record with the chooks all week.

Think they’ll be tough to beat but we’re a step up from this manly team.

Roosters just played their grand final, the pessimistic attitude on here is sad to see. We are primed, have some faith!

Take away from the Roosters / Manly game.

- Roosters play front foot footy very well. The moment a player stuck his nose through the line, they would work off the quick play the ball and be up field before you know it.

- Their large outside backs just eat metres. They averaged 142m each. We need to stop their momentum on play 1 and 2 each set. Lock them in a corner and get off our line with some power.

- The Roosters forwards are still elite. They just beat the sh*t out of Manly. The opening 20 minutes is brutal. Then you have Spencer and May coming off the bench. Our boys need to come in hot.

- NAS has been better in recent times controlling his emotions. He will need to do it in this game in a big way. JWH, Radley and Crighton will be getting into him, trying to rile him up. He needs to be aggressive but in a smart way and not fall for the bait that is no doubt coming.

- Teddy is still wicked dangerous. His bumping, jinking style of running means he never gets hit hard. He always finds his front and gets quick play the balls. We need to be in his face with numbers and where we can, limit his time with the ball in hand.

- Manly’s defence is trash. They were lucky to even be there in week 2.

Having said all of that, if our forwards aim up like they did when we met late in the regular season, I think we win and pull away in the second half.
