Feeling OK about the game tonight. Just checked our round 1 team and both line ups were almost identical.

We had reimis Smith, pezet, Joe Chan and Chris Lewis.

Now we have Howarth, Munster, Blore, and Lazarus in those positions. I would say it's an improved line up to which we won 8-0 with.

My tip is storm in a nail biter, or Penrith in a landslide

Morning Storm Comrades,

Gluck to all and enjoy the occasion. We are a good shout, hopefully go's our way, got a feeling it's going to be an epic nail biter.

The general vibe in the city over the last couple of days has been pro storm from neutrals making comments with most having had enough of Penrith dominance. Been the odd anti other states supporter thrown in of course. Will be intersting to see how crowd support plays out tonight.

Anyway, all showered up and in kit, heading out the door now for the trek to olympic precinct.

Let's go!

Comparing to the Round One game isn’t the best indication; Round 24 would be. We only won by 2 points, and they were missing Turuva, Alamoti, Sorensen and Liam Martin. We had Nelson playing, and now we don’t. Plus, Cleary went off with 14 minutes to go, and we all know how much of a clutch player he is and what he can produce in the last 15 minutes of a game.

We will have to be very disciplined and at our absolute best if we are to win. I’m not nearly as confident as I was in the 2012, 2017, and 2020 grand finals.

Like a few here, the longer this week has dragged on, the less confident I am becoming.
(Yes, I forgot that Wayne Bennett was co-coach with Don Furner at Canberra in 1987, so Craig has now joined him on ten grand finals.)

I’ve gotten more confident as the week has gone on personally. We are the best team in the comp and if we turn up and play how we have in recent weeks we should win.

Yep, and dont forget we got very lucky off that penalty for the jfh late shot and there was a bad obstruction that went our way. Also fish edwards and maritn were fresh off long injury breaks. Dont think sorenson played either.Bias abounds in here. Penrith are a phenomenal team. We have a great chance here though.

We also got sin binned and then they had 4 high shots that were worse not get sin binned. We were nigh on reffed out of it.

Nerves really kicking in now. No idea how this one plays out.

We have been the best team all year and the most consistent. I feel we are deserving but need to pull it together one last time.

Best of luck guys.

At the ground. Long drive down from Sunny Coast yesterday. Awesome NRLW final.

Go Storm. Do what Craig tells you…

Compound letting them score by kicking out on full.
