Papenhuyzen has some quality credentials, but has been found out this year in defence and is also injured quite a lot. Will need to hit the gym. Jesse Arthars a much better prospect in my opinion unless another club has poached him???

Storm have reportedly shown interest in Sam Kasiano, who may be squeezed out of Bulldogs if they pick up Aaron Woods.

Mahe Fonua has requested a release from Hull FC. His partner is pregnant and they want to be closer to family. Wests Tigers have reportedly offered Fonua a two year deal.

Mahe wants to be closer to family and he is going to the Wests Tigers. His family live in Noble Park. I wish Storm players could live in Melbourne and be close to their family in Sydney

Well in his defence Sydney is significantly closer to Melbourne than Hull.

Kasiano and NAS coming off the bench would be a nightmare for opposing packs!

Kasiano is easily the laziest player in the league. Gives away dumb penalties and unforced errors. Easy pass.

Storm released an article on their website today about 2018 contract talks with Slater ramping up.

If he can stay healthy, great IMO.

I actually like the Kasiano interest. Huge human who bends the line virtually every time he hits it up. Numerous times in the past 12 months, Kasiano has single handedly swung momentum for the Dogs when he has come off the bench either with a strong run or offload. A barnstorming run puts your opponents on the backfoot all set.

Bellamy will ensure he tightens up the errors.

Kasiano allegedly wants to start but won't get that opportunity at the Dogs. I agree with the above comment though... Imagine Kasiano going off only for NAS to come on for him?

I would like to see Kasiano play for us, of course there are many I'd take before him but I think we definitely have a need for a player with his style and impact- we've never had a player of his style

Triple M running with a story that Billy has put contract talks on hold because he does not know what he wants to do next year.

ALX22 according to the Sunshine Coast Daily Timm has agreed to terms with the Storm for next year. Although the contract has not been lodged yet.

I agree. We need to bolster the front row stocks, losing Jordan next season. I was pleasantly surprised to see big Sam is only 26, so got a few good years left in him. I would reckon he would make the boys walk a bit taller.
