Remis Smith scored for Catalans in their Challenge Cup semi final against Hull KR, but in the end the Robins were too good - beating Les Dracs 36-12.

David Nofoaluma has signed with UK club Halfiax Panthers for the rest of the season.

I'm hearing Tom Eisenhuth may be forced into immediate retirement due to injury. Feel for him if so, he worked so hard to get back so many times.

Congrats to former Storm squad member and Bear Ben Talty who debuted for the Broncs last night at age 26! Ben played three trial for Storm and took up a train and trial contract with Brisbane last month.

20 minutes, 6 runs for 46 metres and 14 tackles no misses.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

NRL player Brandon Smith has been charged with drug supply and betting offences.

The 29-year-old South Sydney Rabbitohs star was issued with a summons by Queensland Police on August 20 for allegedly supplying dangerous drugs and using or disclosing inside knowledge for betting.

In a statement, the South Sydney Rabbitohs said the club was aware of the allegations against Smith.

"The club has informed the NRL Integrity Unit about the allegations," the statement reads.

"As this matter is part of a Queensland Police investigation, the Rabbitohs will be making no further comment at this stage."

A Queensland police spokesperson said investigations by detectives into the allegations were continuing.

Smith is due to face the Southport Magistrates Court on September 18.
